Paris

A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I spent some time in Paris to celebrate our anniversary. We tried to avoid most of the touristy bits everyone seems to enjoy while visiting Paris, as we had already been there a couple of times. We did, however, take a short trip to the Louvre to see some of Vermeer's work and the upper half of the Mona Lisa.

Being a lover of all things sweet, I had to pay Ladurée a visit to try their iconic macarons and pastries. The rest of our stay was spent in beautiful cafés, waking around the city, parks and fair and shopping at Sephora.

We also went to a comic book store, which sparked our interest in the whole comic book universe. It also led us to read and discuss the different stories together, which has been a lot of fun.

Paris is definitely one of my favourite places in the world. I love exploring the city and finding new places to eat, drink and shop. We had a lovely time again this year and we'll definitely be coming back soon.
